Sanjay Teelucksingh at the T&T National Powerlifting Championship
Sanjay Demitri Teelucksingh of Lower 6 N1 here at Presentation College Chaguanas officially began power-lifting just last year. His first competition was the British Petroleum Annual Open in Mayaro where Sanjay placed 3rd in both the under 105 Kg and under 26 years categories. He followed this up with the Silver and Bronze Medals in the Sub-Junior and Men’s Open 74 Kg categories at the Trinidad & Tobago National Championship in November 2011 and obtained a place in the Trinidad and Tobago National Power Lifting Team.
Currently, Sanjay is preparing to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Caribbean Power-lifting Championship to be held March 28, 2012 in St. Thomas.
